Bus Schedule & Information

Lutheran Lakeside Camp is pleased to offer bus transportation to and from several locations across Iowa for two weeks of camp. The camp has contracted with Southwest Coaches out of Jackson, MN in order to provide this service. The bus fee for 2010 $70. A camp staff person will be on the bus in order to check campers on and off, help load and unload luggage, and lead programs on the bus. Please note that the bus does not stop at a location if we do not have campers scheduled for that particular location. Both trips will make a half-hour fast food stop, so you need to allow for that meal in your spending money. Camp will not provide for those meals.

Bus riders need to arrive at the pick-up location at least 15 minutes early to await the bus. This should allow for slight deviations in the bus schedule, and will keep the bus on time. When campers return from camp, we will also have a check-out procedure. The designated pick-up person will "sign out" each camper. To keep the bus on schedule, please be at the designated pick-up location about 15 minutes prior to the buses appointed arrival. Any late pick-ups will throw the bus behind schedule, so please be on time and be patient if the bus should be running a little behind. Bus Riders Check List

1. Pay Bus Fees with the Registration Fees
2. Arrive at the pick-up location at least 15 minutes early
3. Be certain you have lunch money for the trip to and from camp
4. Parents/Guardians are responsible for their children UNTIL they "sign in" and and AFTER they "sign out"
5. Campers must obey all bus company and camp rules while riding
