Every summer tens of thousands of dollars are given in camperships to children who could not otherwise afford to come to camp. It is the policy of Lutheran Lakeside that no one is turned away regardless of their ability to pay.
Lutheran Lakeside began more than fifty years ago with congregations who knew the importance of children experiencing a "place set apart" to refresh and renew and draw strength from Christian community. Camp is a place to get away from the busyness and noise of the world as Christ did to pray to God, listen to God and be guided by God.
The Giving Club is made up of a group of people who give leadership and financial support to the on-going operation of the ministry here at Lakeside.
Membership begins with an annual gift of $250. Other membership levels of $500, $750, $1,000 or more for those willing and able to do even more to assist Lakeside fulfill its mission to children and families.

Endowment Brochure
This is a permanent fund - the principal is never touched and only the annual proceeds may or may not be used in a given year. This fund is the foundation of financial security for Lakeside and ensures that children and families have a place to go to renew, refresh, and be open to listening for God's voice.

Gifts to camp are a great way to honor the memory of a loved one who has passed away, or honor a special occasion in the life of a relative or friend such as: a birthday, promotion, anniversary, graduation, birth, special achievement, baptism, confirmation, or as an expression of gratitude or support.
