Bio

Becky was born in Hartley, Iowa and moved with my parents to Texas in 1950. Becky graduated from high school in Dallas, Texas and attended Tyler Junior College. During a visit to her grandparents and cousins in the Iowa Great Lakes area in 1967, she met her husband Larry at the Roof Garden in Arnolds Park. The rest is history! Becky now lives, with her husband Larry, on the farm where Larry grew up, west of Spirit Lake. Becky and Larry have been blessed with two wonderful sons who are all grown up and married now to two wonderful women! Becky enjoys many activities, especially anything outdoors such as: gardening, mowing, walking, and playing with their dog, cats, and her miniature horse Rowdy.

Becky considers it a stroke of good luck when she applied at Lakeside for a part-time position as the registrar in 1998. Her love for the outdoors and meeting people made the job most enjoyable. In a short time, the opportunity to become the office manager/registrar was offered to her and she delightfully accepted the challenge! She has been using her office and people skills at Lakeside ever since. She feels so lucky to have a job where she actually enjoys coming in to work every day!

Lakeside is a beautiful place away... away from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life. I wish everyone could experience it!
