AJ is orignally from Muscatine, IA and is currently studying Economics and Finance at UNI. This is AJ's first time at Lakeside and she feels called to love God and campers through her service this summer. She enjoys skiing, guitar, soccer, climbing, camping, oatmeal cookies, rainbow sherbert, and all things outdoors! Her favorite color is red and she could not live without coffee, family, or skiing!

Andrew is originally from Dallas Center-Grimes, IA and is planning on attending ICCC this fall majoring in Human Services. Andrew enjoys show choir, camping, singing, smores, chocolate chip cookies, and cookies and cream ice cream! His favorite color is blue and he enjoys listening to David Crowder and B-Shack music. If he could live anywhere in the world he would choose to live in Florida!

Arielah is originally from Chicago, IL and is currently attending Wartburg College majoring in Psychology and Sociology. She is excited to meet new people and have fun outdoors this summer, which is her first ever at Lakeside! She enjoys poetry, laughing, crab ragoon, candy yams, oreos, and hot cheetos! She likes listening to Alica Kays and admires Ghandi and her parents. If she could live anywhere in the world she would live in Hawaii!

Ash is originally from Chariton, IA and is currently attending Luther College majoring in Theater Management. Ash had an amazing experience last summer and being a counselor is something she has always wanted to do so she is very excited for her second summer on staff at Lakeside! She enjoys golf, choir, showing cattle, reading, knitting, potatoes, sugar and chocolate chip cookies! She could not live without cows or her dogs Quimby and Scout.

Austin was born in San Diego, CA and now calls Ames, IA home. He is currently attending the University of Louisville majoring in Jazz Performance on Drums. Austin enjoys drumming, water skiing, snow skiing, racquet ball, tennis, pizza, the color red, chocolate chip cookies, and bunny tracks ice cream! He greatly admires his Grandpa Paul and would love to live in San Diego, CA!

Haley is originally from Des Moines, IA and attends Dowling Catholic High School there. She came to Lakeside this summer to have the chance to share God's word and love with others, and to grow in her own faith while having fun. She enjoys golf, bowling, cooking, playing guitar, crafts, monster cookies, and mint chocolate chip ice cream!

Hannah is originally from Rock Rapids, IA and is currently attending college at Augustana College in Sioux Falls majoring in Religion and Spanish. Hannah enjoys Augie Fried Chicken Bowls, listening to music, reading, having wonderful conversations with people, the color teal, and white chocolate chip cookies (no nuts)! Her favorite book is "Blue Like Jazz" by Donald Miller and her favorite ice cream flavor is peanut butter panic! If she could live anywhere she would like to live in Mexico.

Jade is originally from Valley, NE and is currently attending college at Dana College majoring in Journalism and Corporate Communications. She is returning to Lakeside for her second summer for one very simple reason, the campers. She enjoys reading, comics (spider man), exploring, traveling, apples, kiwi, chocolate chip cookies, the color green, and chocolate ice cream! She admires Sherlock Holmes, William Shatner, and Joyce Carol Oates. If she could live anywhere she decided she would like to live in Australia.

John is originally from 29 Palms, CA and is currently attending Dana College majoring in Criminal Justice. He is hoping to have fun, meet new people, learn, and enjoy life this summer at Lakeside! He enjoys paintballing, computers, games, oreo cookies, the color green, california burritoes, and home made vanilla ice cream! His favorite book is "The Lorax" by Dr. Seus and he really admires his dad. If he could live anywhere in the world he would like to live in Colorado.

Jon is originally from Bondurant, IA and is currently attending DMACC. He has been coming to Lakeside as a camper and on staff now for a total of over ten years! He comes back to Lakeside to share his faith and make more lifelong friends. Jon enjoys playing guitar, video games, outdoor games, pizza, tacos, food, and chocolate chip cookies! His favorite colors are black and gold (go Hawks) and he couldn't live without music and God. If he could live anywhere in the world he would live right here at Lakeside.

Kaia is originally from Owatonna, MN and is currently attending Pacific Lutheran University majoring in Chinese Studies. She has come to Lakeside this summer for fun times and new experiences! She enjoys languages, travel, mehndi, films, art, mangoes, snickerdoodle cookies, the color green, and all types of ice cream! She greatly admires Gandhiji and could not live without oxygen. If she could live anywhere in the world she would like to live in India.

Kim calls Laurens, IA home and is currently attending Luther College majoring in Women and Gender Studies. This will be Kim's third camping season at Lakeside and she says she comes back for the breezy waterfront - a place to share a rare experience with campers in the midwest. Kim enjoys talking, silly dances, reading, biking, activism, avacados, sprouts, cheddar cheese, gala apples, the color green, butter pecan ice cream, and white chocolate macademia nut cookies! She could not live without coffee.

Luke is originally from Minnetonka, MN and is currently attending Augustana College in Sioux Falls majoring in Mathematics and Physics. He enjoys sailing, video games, reading science magazines, turkey cheez-it casserole, the color red, oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, and super man sherbet! He really admires his father and would love the opportunity to live in Australia.

Nathan is originally from Burlington, IA and has graduated from Southeastern Community College with his Associates degree. He enjoys reading, listening to music, watching movies, walking the trails at Lakeside, the color red, chocolate chip cookies, and strawberry ice cream! If Nathan could live anywhere in the world he would live in London, England.

Tiffany is originally from Viborg, SD and is attending Northern State University majoring in Speech Communication with a minor in Music. Tiffany enjoys playing guitar, singing, drawing, scrapbooking, embroidering, quilting, fliesh kuekla, john deer green, monster cookies, and chocolate ice cream! She really admires her grandma and is excited for her first summer on staff at Lakeside!

Chris is originally from Port Byron, IL and is currently attending Riverdale High School. This is his first year on staff and has had amazing past experiences at camp. He enjoys playing piano, golf, the colors black and red, and peanut butter cookies! He really admires his mom and would love to live in Italy some day!

Brian is originally from West Point, NE and finished college at Wayne State College with a major in Psychology and Criminal Justice. He hopes to meet new people, help kids, have fun, sail, and learn as much as he can this summer at Lakeside. He enjoys skiing, sailing, reading (his favorite book is Moby Dick), and swashbuckling! He likes eating at Joe's Crab Shack, is an Aerosmith fan, and his favorite cookies are M&M cookies!

Alex is originally from Vermillion, SD and is currently attending Luther College majoring in Philosophy and Sociology. He feels called to Lakeside this summer to be a camp counselor where he can grow in and share his faith with others. Alex enjoys football, golf, basketball, baseball, dance, swimming, reading, video games, volunteering, pizza, the colors red and black, double chocolate cookies, and chocolate ice cream! He really admires his dad and would like to live in New Zealand someday!

Drake is originally from Burlington, IA and is currently attending Burlington High School. He has been coming to camp as a camper for 6 summers and this is his first on staff. He is excited to come to Lakeside, which is a place where his family has a history of attending and he enjoys the people! Drake likes playing baseball, football, eating cheese pizza, the colors blue and black, chocolate chip cookies, and vanilla ice cream!

Gerry is originally from Eldora, IA and graduated from Iowa Lakes Community College with a degree in Computer Science. She has been around Lakeside the past four years helping with mowing the grass, work projects, and she is currently our cook! Gerry enjoys chicken alfredo, the color yellow, chocolate chip cookies, and chocolate ice cream! If she could live anywhere in the world she would live in Hawaii!

Sarah is originally from Newell, IA and graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Interior Design. Sarah has been around Lakeside a number of years as a camper, staff person, and volunteer! She enjoys sewing, reading, quilting, puzzles, her mother's pot roast, many different colors, chocolate chip cookies, and blue bunny's muddy sneakers ice cream!

Lou is originally from Spirit Lake, IA and has been helping out around camp for the past three years as our Assistant Ranger. Lou enjoys taking pictures in his free time and can frequently be spotted at craft fairs with some amazing photos for sale. He also enjoys working on cars, hamburgers, the color blue, chocolate chip cookies, Henry Mancini music, "The Boxcar Children", and chocolate peanut butter ice cream! If he could live anywhere in the world Lou would live right here in the Midwestern United States.
