A Brief Description
Wavebreakers is designed to give high schoolers finishing Grades 9-12 a week of adventure on the lake while working to understand what it means to live and work in an Intentional Christian Community. Discover what it means to be a leader and how that is put into action at camp and within our home communities. You will be involved in leading worship, planning games, and campfires as well as learning to counsel young campers in daily program activities. This is a two week program for the price of one!
Upon successful completion of the 1st Week of Wavebreakers you will be asked to return to camp for a 2nd week to play a part as a member of our staff for the week! A Wavebreaker needs to be an individual who loves camp and wants to be involved in creating the spirit that permeates the camp environment. Wavebreakers must be willing to come early on Sunday (around 1pm) to take on their assignments for the week. These assignments may include: Assisting a Counselor, Serving on Day Camp, or Aiding the Program and Support Staff. Wavebreakers will have the awesome opportunity of working directly with our campers and enjoying the week of camp!
Second Week Opportunities
These are the weeks we would like our Wavebreakers to come back and help us out. Please do not plan to come back for a week not listed as it may not be possible.
