Celebration Camp

June 21-24; June 28-July 1

Celebration Camp is one of our long-standing traditions at Lakeside with a new name! Celebration Camp is a half-week of camp for adults with special needs. Why the new name? It is Lakeside’s mission to be a place of belonging for all people to find joy and purpose in God’s creation. All people, including people with special needs, different and unique abilities. People with special needs are people that God has given different and unique abilities to. At camp, we believe those are abilities worth celebrating. Come celebrate with us!

During Celebration Camp, campers stay in our retreat spaces, where they share bedrooms with counselors and other adult campers. Retreat spaces include bathrooms, showers, and common spaces. Throughout the week, campers will learn about our summer theme, play group games, participate in bible studies, go on boat rides, put together puzzles, and find joy and purpose in God’s creation! Space is limited. Register today!

Family Camp is the perfect family vacation, where there is something for everyone! Each morning, the kids go with counselors for bible study, worship, sailing, crafts, and other camp fun, while the adults have the opportunity to attend faith formation, sailing, art, service projects, other activities or just relax. In the afternoon, families are reunited to take on camp together. Afternoon adventures include kayaking, canoeing, swimming, ziplining, and rock climbing, large group games, family outings, lawn games, and more. Evenings are filled with community bonding, worship, and fellowship. Cost varies with housing options, which include our retreat spaces and cabins! See website for more details.
