High School Camps

Leadership and service are two of the most important characteristics any young person can have.  Here are Lakeside, we have created a two week program for high school students to do all the things they love at camp - zip line, sail, kayak, hike, rock climb - while still providing a program that challenges them in their personal growth.  Counselors will lead campers in heartfelt bible studies, special service projects, and exciting trips and adventures.  They will experience an amazing week of friendship, fellowship, and learning.  Campers are then invited back for any of the following weeks to volunteer with the staff, use their knowledge and lessons first hand, and take part in an intentional Christian community for all ages.

Night Owls

What better way to spend your summer than to stay up late and sleep through the morning?  Even campers at Lakeside love that!  During this camp, counselors stay up late with campers playing glow games, watching movies, and telling funny stories.  Breakfast will even be served at midnight!  They will spend a relaxed morning sleeping in before joining in with the rest of the camp in classic activities like carpet ball, climbing the Tower, capture the flag, kayaking on the lake, and more.  This week is everything campers love about Lakeside plus late nights with friends!

See the line where the sky meets the sea?  Keep wondering how far you’ll go?  Come sail away with Lakeside’s full week of sailing camp!  Campers will start by learning how to sail boats like Sunfish or Hobie Cats, from setup to speeding them across the lake, and work their way towards the larger classes of boats.  When not sailing, the campers will still get to enjoy Lakeside’s many adventure activities like ziplining, rock climbing, hiking, swimming, paddle boarding, and more.
