Here at Lakeside, we want your wedding day to be everything you want and more. We have multiple ceremony sites available for you to choose from. You can do a ceremony inside the Event Center, on the Great Lawn, at Main Campfire, or by the Dead Sea. Inside the Event Center you don’t have to worry about weather and you have a variety of ways to set up a ceremony and reception in one or use the different spaces in any way you can imagine to have it all. The Great Lawn is 3 acres outside the Event Center over looking the lake. You are next to the event center and close to parking.
There is electricity from the Event Center and bathrooms conveniently located. This space can hold over 500. Main Campfire is where Lakeside does its evening worships. This space is right next to the water and there is a cross already placed. It is surrounded by trees, grass, and feels a little more intimate than the great lawn. Seating here is limited to 200. It is a short walk from the Event Center, no direct electricity. The Dead Sea is a pond in center camp. This area is not on the lake, but next to a pond so there are fewer distractions. It is constantly shaded, there is near by parking, bathrooms, and electricity. It is a short walk to the Event Center or you can drive there.

Located in the heart of Okoboji in Spirit Lake, IA – the Lakeside Event Center sits on a quarter mile of property right on the beautiful, East Okoboji Lake and is surrounded by a lot of mature trees and meadows – a venue unlike any other in the area!
Here at the Lakeside Event Center, we want you to have an enjoyable, memorable, and meaningful celebration. That is why we let you pick your own vendors, decorate and set up anyway you’d like, and provide the space to you for the whole weekend for plenty of time to set up, enjoy, and tear down.

Pricing:
April – October: $1,300 Deposit: $325
October – March: $1,000 Deposit: $250
Reservations are from Friday 3pm to Sunday 11am. Whole Event Center and outdoor space included.
Reserving and Cancellations:
To reserve the Event Center, we collect contact information and put a credit card on file. Payment is due by the time of arrival. We will need a credit card on file in case of incidentals.
We have a no cancelation policy within 6 months prior to event.
Your wedding is exactly that – YOURS. So we don’t require you to book from a list of vendors of our choice because we want your wedding to represent everything you want and envisioned for your day!
